SMS Consent and Opt-In Disclosure
RPTrainor is invitation-only. Onboarding begins when you submit an access request — RPTrainor never sends unsolicited SMS, and no message of any kind is sent to anyone who has not first requested onboarding. By completing the three-step opt-in flow below, you agree to receive service-related text messages as part of your client services.
Three-Step Opt-In
How opt-in works
1. Submit an access request
Onboarding begins with you. Submit a request through rptrainor.com or by emailing ryan@rptrainor.com. The request includes your name, business name, the phone number where you wish to receive SMS, and explicit acknowledgment that an SMS invitation will be sent to that number. RPTrainor never sends SMS to anyone who has not first submitted a request — there are no cold or unsolicited messages.
2. Receive a single invitation SMS
After RPTrainor reviews and approves your request, you receive one invitation SMS containing a unique signed activation link. The invitation message itself is the only SMS sent before activation, and it is sent only because you affirmatively requested it.
3. Confirm consent and verify your phone
Tapping the invitation link opens an activation page on rptrainor.com. There you must (a) check a box affirming you consent to receive SMS service messages from RPTrainor and accept the SMS terms, and (b) enter a one-time verification code sent to your phone. Both steps are required before your account is created and before any further messages are sent. The submitted access request, the consent checkbox, and the verification code together constitute affirmative double opt-in.
To begin, visit the access request section on rptrainor.com or email ryan@rptrainor.com .

Third-Party Sharing
Your SMS opt-in data stays private

For Representatives — Phone-Based Access Requests
Verbal access-request script
If a prospective client requests access by phone instead of through rptrainor.com or email, the phone call itself serves as their access request. Representatives must read the following script verbatim during the call to capture explicit permission to send the invitation SMS. The prospect must still complete the activation page and one-time code verification before any further messages are sent.
"Hi, this is [Representative Name] from RPTrainor. You're requesting access to RPTrainor, our invitation-only financial management service. With your permission, I'll send a single invitation SMS to the phone number you provide so you can complete activation by confirming consent and entering a one-time verification code. After activation, you'll receive service-related text messages — account balances from your connected financial accounts, budget progress, spending summaries, and tax-savings strategies — up to 60 messages per month based on your account activity. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. We will not share your phone number or SMS consent with any third party for marketing purposes. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance. May I send the invitation SMS to the phone number you provided?"
Record the prospect's verbal "yes" or equivalent affirmative response, the date and time of consent, and the phone number consented to. The recorded consent is the access request; the invitation SMS and subsequent activation flow complete double opt-in.
Client preference and customization
If you prefer not to receive certain reports, or if you want reports delivered through another medium, your reporting setup is fully customizable by discussing your preferences with your RPTrainor concierge.
SMS consent is optional and can be adjusted as your needs change.
